Cognición ampliada, sistemas dinámicos complejos y toma de decisiones en los deportes

Resumen

La comprensión de la cognición en el deporte ha experimentado una transformación significativa en las últimas décadas, pasando de modelos internalistas, basados ​​en el procesamiento de la información, a perspectivas más amplias que reconocen el papel constitutivo del entorno, el cuerpo y las herramientas materiales y sociales en el funcionamiento cognitivo. El concepto de cognición expandida, articulado con teorías de sistemas dinámicos complejos y enfoques enactivos y ecológicos, ofrece un marco teórico sólido para comprender la acción y la toma de decisiones en contextos altamente complejos, como el deporte. Este artículo examina en profundidad los fundamentos teóricos y epistemológicos de la cognición expandida aplicada al deporte, con énfasis en su interacción con los sistemas dinámicos, la cognición, la metacognición y la regulación. Se discuten las implicaciones de la metacognición como mecanismo de monitoreo y control adaptativo, así como su articulación con los regímenes de estabilidad y metaestabilidad en sistemas no lineales. El objetivo es proporcionar una base conceptual sólida para integrar la cognición expandida, la dinámica compleja y los procesos regulatorios, preparando el terreno para el análisis posterior de las dimensiones emocionales y decisionales que se explorarán con mayor profundidad en la segunda parte de este trabajo.
