EFFECT OF THE LEVEL ALTERATION AMENDMENT OF RIVER MOURÃO IN THREE VEGETAL PLANT SPECIES OF LAGO AZUL STATE PARK IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CAMPO MOURÃO – PR

Abstract

The present study had the goal to analyze the phenology of 15 individuals of three different species in a period time of great precipitation level and observe possible changes due to the high hydrometric level. The chosen species were: Ludwigia sericea (Cambess) Hara; Boehmeria caudata Sw; because they are species found with great frequency in the Lago Azul State Park and are in the margins of Mourão river. On the other hand, Leucaena leucocephala (Lam.) Wit. specie is an exotic invader specie. The study took 5 months and 15 days with visits in every fifteen days, being evaluated the adult leaves, young leaves, vegetative sprouts, flowers and fruits. It can be observed that the high index of precipitation of the months of January and February caused great modifications in the individuals. The individuals of Boehmeria caudata Sw. were not adapted to the great rain period and did not achieve their total recovery, after this period, different from Ludwigia sericea (Cambess) Hara species that had great regeneration after the high hydrometric level. Leucaena leucocephala (Lam.) Wit. was shown very plastic and can bring future problems to the park, because it increased its number of individuals in 40% after the flood event. This is explained due to the dispersion caused by the hydrometric level. Key words: Area of Preservation. Phenology. Invader species. Precipitation. Dispersion. Hydrometric Level.
