Calha PET - CONSTRUCTION OF CALHA OF BOTTLE PET FOR GETTING THE RAIN WATER AND SOLID WASTE REDUCTION

Abstract

This work seeks to develop actions for environmental preservation and conservation of natural resources, as well as guide and show alternatives for the reuse of plastic bottles (PET - Poly Ethylene Terephthalate) in the construction of rails for use of rainwater for uses non-potable consumption involving direct or indirect activities in multiple sectors of urban and rural areas. It is emphasized the importance of developing activities and practices related to issues of environmental conservation, enabling the improvement of living conditions of the population in order to avoid or minimize the social conflicts and negative effects to the natural system, and act perception of society about the diversity among physical systems, human, biogeographic, and their interconnections. Through application of this research in a house in the city of Curitiba/PR, the results show that can be suplement aproximidiatly 40% of the waters demand in the toilet set and the impermeable areas, by reducing the use of water potable . A bookinstruction was produced and a webpage (internet), particularly to assist in building the pipeline and as a source of didactic information.
