Abstract
This study, of a qualitative nature, developed by documental and bibliographical analysis, aimed to discuss the necessary relations between local associations, municipal, state and federal public powers and the institutional agencies in their respective modalities, due to rescue the dialogue of the democratization of adventure activities in nature, considering the current social, economic and politic dynamics, also investigating possible actions to spread out such activities, taking as example the Project “Canoagem Popular” at Piracicaba, SP.
