Training Kendo and thinking in body education

Abstract
In this studying we propose to analyze the relations between the “training Kendo” and the body education being the central point to be investigated the question about how it’s possible teach someone the corporal human movement. The characteristics of our sample for this study analysis propose result that we can named field of participative and theoretical research. Our method of study has by theory referential the studies of Marcel Mauss and Pierre Bourdieu. The analysis results point to the understanding of body education like one class of “silent transmission” that pass mainly for a “prestigious imitation” that is fixed by a “social authority” (Sensei). The perspective on understand the transmission of corporal human movement in teaching Kendo presents various impossible particularities to express only by words, and, so, they produce the difficulties in the constitution of one methodology to the body education.

    Possui graduação em Educacao Fisica pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - Unesp (1987), mestrado em Educação pela Faculdade de Educação - Unicamp (1997) e doutorado em Educação - Unicamp(2004). Atualmente é Docente Adjunto Nível III da Universidade Federal de Itajubá - Unifei. Tem experiência na área de Educação - Ensino Fundamental, Ensino Médio e Ensino Superior. Trabalha na linha de pesquisa: Educação do Corpo; Educação e Psicanálise. Atua, principalmente, nos seguintes temas: fundamentos da educação, psicanálise, educação física e psicologia da educação. Desenvolveu o protejo intitulado: Clínica da Cultura - A educação e a crueldade: o ensino da barbárie tendo como base as práticas educativas instituídas no ambiente escolar (Projeto Fapemig Universal/2006 SHA 1929/06). Atualmente desenvolve projeto aprovado junto a Fapemig intitulado: Educação e Psicanálise As dinâmicas das práticas educativas e os mitos sobre as causas das dificuldades escolares: os problemas de aprendizagem (Projeto Fapemig Universal/2008 SHA - APQ-00070-08).
