Testimonies from twelve professionals (six licensed teachers and six bachelors) were collected. It was verified that the professionals did not consider the habilitations for professional performance and consider their first formation as inadequate to work at the gym. Professionals who intend to follow an academic career because they consider the school as a possibility of professional stability and financial security and, also, as an alternative to work because of the short career offered by gyms.
