Vocational Schools and the relation to University: some implications for the understanding of the professional knowledge constitution in Physical Education

Abstract
The purpose of this essay is to reflect upon the aspects that constitute the formal knowledge production set as a value for the Physical Education. As for that, it is understood as necessary the approach of intervening factors in the formal knowledge configuration together with professional groups, with the purpose of reflecting on the status of the formalized knowledge as a value, arising from the inheritance of the relation between Vocational Schools and University. It is also our intention to call the attention to some implications of these factors for understanding the professional knowledge constitution in Physical Education. Finally, we want to call the attention to the fact that any analyses carried out about critical aspects of the Professional Education, isolated from the tensions that reached it, could mean firstly not to consider the factors that rule the specific culture of a specific area, in the preparation of their professionals.

    Possui graduação em Educação Física pela Escola de Educação Física pela Universidade de São Paulo (1991), mestrado em Educação Física pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1996) e doutorado em Educação Física pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2003). Atualmente, é professora adjunta no Centro de Educação Física e Esporte da Universidade Estadual de Londrina, onde é líder do Grupo de Estudos sobre Intervenção do Profissional de Educação Física - GEIPEF. Ministra aulas no curso de Bacharelado em Educação Física, junto à disciplina Fundamentos da Educação Física. Atua como orientadora no Programa Associado de Pós-Graduação em Educação Física UEM/UEL e nos Cursos de Especialização do CEFE-UEL. Atua como consultora da Revista de Educação Física da UEM, Revista Brasileira de Educação Física e Esporte, Revista de Cineantropometria e Desempenho Humano, Revista Mackenzie de Educação Física e Esporte. Coordena projetos de pesquisa em Educação Física na instituição, junto às temáticas relacionadas aos estudos sobre os conteúdos da intervenção profissional, grupos profissionais e formação profissional.
