Body work in early childhood education: finally who should actually achieve it?

Abstract
Early childhood education is at the moment that the children internalize important knowledge that help the rest of their lives, influencing its formation and its practices. This article reflects on the teacher generalist, responsible for working on body movement with the children in early childhood education, which has expertise to develop such a task and sees the importance of this work for children, also discusses the second survey conducted, the possible need for a specialist teacher to work in the movement and is a question on the preparation of this work to deal with children in early childhood education. This article concludes the dialogue with these issues and open a discussion about the possibility of these two professionals work in partnership to ensure the child a more specific education and to help in its full development.

    Graduado em educação física pela Universidade Federal de Goiás (1996), Especialista em Treinamento Desportivo pela Universidade Salgado de Oliveira(1997), Mestre em Educação Física Escolar pela Faculdade de Educação Física da UNICAMP. Professor da Prefeitura Municipal de Barra do Garças no ensino fundamental, com ênfase na área de Educação Física Escolar. Professor na Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso- CUA-Centro Universitário do Araguaia no curso de Educação Física, desde maio de 2009.     possui mestrado em Educação Especial (Educação do Indivíduo Especial) pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos (1994) e doutorado em Educação Física pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2002) . Atualmente é professor doutor da Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Tem experiência na área de Educação , com ênfase em Educação Física Escolar.
