Abstract
Physical activity associated to the human aging, may help the individual person to face it with detter health and life conditions. This study shows the basic information on the aging process; information of great value for the planning and implementation of a program of physical activities for elderly people. Our objective was to re-orientate the dynamics of elderly people, to provoke reflexion by the professionals the area, to improve their programs, and not be limited basically to the physiological aspects but considering all the other aspects. This dynamics and general global consideration of the elderly is necessary, due to the alterations happening in all aspects.

    Atualmente é Coordenador da Faculdade da Terceira Idade do Ação Educacional Claretiana e Professor da Universidade de Franca. Tem experiência na área de Educação Física , com ênfase em Motricidade Humana.
