Abstract
This text has how I aim to discuss means of formation and professionals intervention of Physical Education in the context of the leisure. In this sense, search to surpass the limited vision of leisure and of professional acting, taking as a reference the perspective of the cultural liveliness. This objective action to effective participation of the population through the emphasis in the automanagement and in the most critical search of a formation and conscious of the persons, in his leisure existences.

    possui graduação em Educação Física pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1993), mestrado em Educação Física pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1997) e doutorado em Educação Física pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2002). Atualmente é professor adjunto da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Docente do Mestrado em Lazer da UFMG (área Interdisciplinar - Câmara de Ciências Humanas e Sociais) e Líder do grupo de pesquisa Lazer, Cultura e Educação (LACE) do CELAR/UFMG. Editor da Revista Licere. Tem experiência na área de Educação Física com ênfase na perspectiva interdisciplinar, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: lazer, educação física, recreação, políticas públicas e Formação e atuação profissional.
