Abstract
The present study it at great length, tells the occurrence in the departure between São Paulo and Quilmes for Toyota the Liberating Pantry of America of 2005. Since the moment that originated the expulsion of the Brazilian player Grafite, passing for the denunciation made for the Brazilian player against the Desábato Argentine, the arrest of the Argentine player still in the lawn of the Morumbi and, after, the depositions to the policy. The research also analyzes the diverse opinions of directly involved people with the case, an Argentine sociologist, a Brazilian historian and the medias them two countries, that, beyond telling the case, had demonstrated different forms of repercussion of the fact in the respective countries. It was concluded that racism and the discrimination are inserted in the sport, depending on the midiatica exposition to cause however more, however less, repercussion.

    Possui graduação em Educação Física pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (1997), graduação em Psicologia pela Universidade Tuiuti do Paraná (1999), mestrado em História pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (2002) e doutorado em História pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (2007). Atualmente é professor adjunto da Universidade Federal do Paraná e coordenador do Centro de Memória do Departamento de Educação Física na mesma instituição. Também é parecerista de revistas científicas nas áreas de Educação Física e Ciências Humanas, líder de equipe da NPO Global Sports Alliance, avaliador de curso de graduação (SINAES) e pesquisador do Núcleo Futebol e Sociedade - UFPR. Tem experiência na área de Educação Física, com ênfase na relação entre Ciências Sociais e o Esporte. Pesquisa atualmente os seguintes temas: história do futebol; literatura esportiva; o conceito de esporte; memória, educação física e esporte; e a relação entre estética esporte.
