A INFLUÊNCIA DA CIDADE DE RIO CLARO NA TEMPERATURA E NA UMIDADE DO AR

Resumen

This work presents the analyzis of the air temperature and air humidity in the Rio Claro town. The data have been collected at 4 stations located in the urban area and its vicinity, during 90 days, from the 18th April to 30th October 1980 and that at two periods: at 7:00 and 15:00 o'clock. Those data have been treated statistically and the results obtained enable to presume the existence of a "heat island" above the Rio Claro town and in terms of that, the existence of a local cell of circulation.
