Coexistence with the semi-arid is a paradigm based on the need for integrated actions that contribute to improving the quality of life for rural populations. In this context, social technologies emerge as tools that strengthen peasant productivity through their association with agroecology. In Serra de Santana, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, there is clear evidence of the spread of agroecological social technologies driven by women’s management of food production. This study aims to highlight the contribution of agroecological social technologies to strengthening coexistence with the semi-arid, based on processes observed in Serra de Santana. The methodology included bibliographic research, fieldwork, and interviews with rural women. The results show that the agroecological social technologies implemented in Serra de Santana, such as biodigesters, bio-water systems, and low-cost garden beds, enhance key aspects of living with the semi-arid, including the spread of agroecology practices, the sustainable use of natural resources, and the promotion of women's work.
